The leading manufacturer of trailers for semi-trucks in the US, Wabash National, recently held a 3-day conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. Titled “Wabash Ignite”, the conference focused on improvements in products and processes that are transforming the transportation, distribution, and logistics industry. EDAG is a proud partner in the design of Wabash’s concept walk-in delivery van, which showcased modular side-door construction and the application of their breakthrough composite panel, DuraPlate.
In addition to displaying the new van, EDAG business development and engineering leadership participated in symposiums on material technology, electrification, new government regulations, and the additional challenges of handling frozen foods and pharmaceuticals, like the first COVID vaccine. Wabash appreciated EDAG’s participation in the event, ending in discussions surrounding additional teaming opportunities between now and their next Ignite Conference in 2024.
